Flight Matrix
 
FlightMatrix is a photogrammetric software developed especially for processing aerial photos taken by unmanned aircraft. With DATrans module and Automatic Point Extraction features integrated, the FlightMatrix can extract and generate highly accurate DEM (Digital Elevation Model) and seamless Orthophoto automatically and rapidly without Ground Control Points.

Automatically extract DEM and generate Orthophoto according to input parameters of camera calibration, flight data, and project requirements.
Automatic Process Procedures:

Be able to process photos taken by unmanned aircraft massively and rapidly while co-process POS parameters artificially, then produce flight trajectories automatically; the result can be presented on Google Earth.

The Digital Image Tie Points based on Feature Operator
By adopting the recent development in computer visualization, especially those operators that are provided with projection invariant character, such as SIFT, STAR, SURF, can establish well correlations between images.

Control-free Network Adjustment
Based on interested points extraction, FlightMatrix will proceed an automatically calculation of conjugate point pairs and network adjustment to the whole area.

The final products are dense DEM and seamless orthophoto.
By saving the results as kml file and presenting on Google Earth could make a comparison of old and updated GIS data.
